I haven't blogged for more than 2 weeks so I should have a lot to report... and I actually do. Kind of. At least more than usual. Starting with the most recent: CHINESE NEW YEAR. Yay. Lots of goodies and not a lot of red packets but that's not the point. The point is that there was a major trafic jam at the causeway and I think we spent 1 and a half hours there... so many cars in Singapore and yet COE prices are plunging... tsk tsk.
CNY celebrations in school was a bit dull except that I embarrassed myself thoroughly by insisting the answer to one of the question was valentine's day and of course NJ superstar, the highlight of the CNY concert. The 3 finalists were Roman, Xian Yong aka Tonight and Si Yuan. All 3 of them can sing!! Of course, that itself is quite obvious seeing that if they couldn't sing, they won't be the finalists. Many felt that Tonight had to best voice but Roman won. Still, 1st runner up is quite good for a J1. I hope he takes part next year and wins! I think he's really cute and kinda hot. Haha. I have such weird taste.
And then thursday. There was Physics SPA and a FM test... I did badly for both... but I don't really care now... it's not my problem yet... It will be a few months later, haha. And I did some sharing thing for GP on mental disorders! I wasn't prepared for it since I only had 1 day's notice and for some weird reason, my mum decided to sell off all the old newspapers on this day and SPH printed all the boring articles on wednesday. So I was left with the article on mental disorders. I did badly for that but since it's just sharing and it's not graded, I really don't care.
I got to do my personal statement soon to APPLY to take 3 Special Papers... people should stop going "but all this is no problem to you right, you 3 S paper student" or "most people only have 2 'S's but this one got 3 'S's" because my level of tolerance have plunged with the COE prices this year. Grr. I becoming a very mean-spirited girl with mean thoughts... is this part of growing up? Or am I suffering from hormonal inbalance which is quite delayed but then again, my growth was delayed too... Oh well...
Anyway I watched Memoirs of a Geisha... Gong Li is so beautiful!! I think she's the most pretty of all the 3 geishas. The actresses were well-picked even though they were all not japanese... I wonder why they didn't choose japanese actresses... is it because Zhang Zi Yi and Michelle Yeoh are more well-known in the Hollywood circle?
I finished playing Golden Sun 2!! But I think I pressed a few wrong keys and spoilt the whole program thing... thank goodness I finished playing the game but I won't be able to get my password when GS3 comes out... oh well, I guess I'll just play again. Haha. So so fun.
