Anyway, it's the special time of the year where roses become more expensive and people try to make money out of couples by pricing their goods extremely high. This year I gave out chocolates (as usual) and clear folders. =)
I thought that my class wouldn't be as enthusiastic about it as 05s09 since our class is rather small and we know that we will still love each other even if we don't give anything... at most, only the girls will give and perhaps Royston and Ferro and of course Yi Fan to Zhong Lu but yay! They proved me wrong! They bought roses from Interact club and gave it to every girl (at first I thought I heard that the guy gave it to themselves or something like that >_<) And the nice thing is that the proceeds will go to charity. And the cute thing is that each guy had one and presented it to another girl. And they played our dedication twice during [j1]lunch. =) 05s06 rocks!!
But I suppose the giving culture in NJ is not as happening as it is in all girls school. I suppose it's because it's easier for girls to give other girls? Or maybe all the mugging has done something to our heads?
Common test is coming!! Everything is happening so fast, I think I'm going to fall back soon. There's a FM test this thursday and I don't know what to do. I mean the obvious thing to do is to study but I'm still in holiday mood especially with all this CNY and Valentine's Day and Road Run things which have nothing to do with academics which makes me think it's still December.
Oh well, I hope we really can have lunch with our junior class on Friday after Road Run. Royston is asking his choir junior to convey the message. I haven't even met my juniors... I hope I get to meet them on Friday...
Pei Wen wrote this if I were a male what would I look for in a wife... well, basically whatever I'll look for in a husband. Mutual understanding, be comfortable to be our true true selves in each other's presence, not being ashamed to share anything with him/her..... and my parents approval. Which basically means he/she needs an education and a steady income and be relatively nice. Yep.
And I realise that Pei Wen and I share different taste in guys. I like the Tonight kind (small boy, cute cute, knows wushu, have some kind of artistic ability, relatively intelligent) or those who portray a lot of their character outwardly. HOT. Haha. Not necessarily potential husband material but ATTRACTIVE. =D
