Oh goodness. So little time left and so much to do. And then 9 months in London and I've got to last through those 9 months whether I like it or not. Soon I'm going to be thrown in an unfamiliar environment with unfamiliar people and all the wonderful friendly faces I've seen in the last 19 years of my life will be gone.
What have I gotten myself into?
Now I'm panicking... a bit. I haven't fully realised the meaning of what I wrote so I can't appreciate all of it... I know all that is going to happen but I can't really feel it yet. I have this feeling it'll all come to me when I step into London and then I'll turn mental.
I guess it helps that I'm already not quite right up there, lol. Or maybe it's only when I'm working... so far, I think it's only my colleagues who tell me I have strange habits. Guang Ling says sometimes she think I'm queer. I thought I was quite normal and I'm quite sure most people think I'm normal. Haha, okay nevermind, this is pretty much irrelevant.
Anyway, here's an update of the things that happened since 19th August.
23 August: I left IRAS. It was a very quiet day. Usually there will not be much traffic on Thursday but TPSC was even emptier than usual. No one came in the last 20 minutes which was quite a blessing because I like slack days. I'll miss working there and the perm staff. Ros gave me some chocolates and a bookmark... it was really sweet of her! =) I stil have the Ferrero Rocher sitting in my fridge haha.
24-26 August: Sojourn 2007, met a lot of other Singaporean Imperial freshmen. If I'm not wrong, there were 4 NJ students from my year (Me, Yon Jan 05s09 (Mech Eng), Wei Shyuan 05s16 (Medicine), Yingying 05s18 (BioMed Eng)) and probably a few others from the 1986 batch. It was really fun although it made me remember how much I miss the DSTA group and what we did during our orientation programme (just like how the DSTA group made me want to meet up with my NJ class)

27 August: I got my bank draft!!! It's really a lot of money. =D I spent a lot of money that day though when I went down to Bugis Junction, half of it on a gift and the other half because I managed the find a pair of pants that fits my horrible fat thighs and doesn't require me to alter the length at all! I love Dorothy Perkins! Good thing I'll see lots of Dorothy Perkins in London right?
28 August: I got some vaccinations... the needle that they prepacked for the flu vaccine was so thick, it really hurts.
29 August: I should think nothing much happened on this day because I don't remember anything. I might have gone out but I can't remember why. Probably to spend more money... *sighs*
30 August: UK Bound 2007. It was the first time I went clubbing and probably going to be the last. Lol, clubbing is just not for me. But at least now I have some experience although it isn't much because UK Bound was only for those studying in UK so it felt more of a party then actual clubbing.
31 August: Steamboat @ Suntec with IRAS people. It's one expensive place and we had to queue to use the escalator because there were so many people going to Comex. But it was good steamboat with an Ice Kachang machine thing that produced shaved ice, ice cream, milk puddings, yummy tiramisu and having your own personal steamboat to cook stuff was really fun.
1 September: Went to Comex with some DSTA Imperial people (Xuan You and non-DSTA friend, Wei Feng, Feng Yi, Terence). I met Ilona (and her sister) there!!! Lol it was quite funny because Ilona commented that we keep meeting at all the cheapo events (cos we met at Expo at the Adidas warehouse sale some time ago). Anyway, I bought a 1gb M2 card and a portable hard drive after walking for many hours, trying to find prettier hard drives.
2-6 Sept: *blank*
7 September: Constance's Birthday!!! Met up with the angklung girls, and we ate at New York New York (after waiting for like half an hour for a table). It was fun catching up with them and playing with the cotton candy machine. We went around trying to find a dress for Constance as a present but couldn't find anything... in the end she bought a pair of slippers from Charles and Keith and we stuffed some money in a glass bottle... well... it looked nicer that way. 
8 September: 05s06 gathering. Of course, everyone was late... but we still managed to play pool together. (In my case, it was really playing pool but just pushing the white ball in random directions and making fouls). =) I love my classmates. I really didn't expect them to get me a farewell present and card and finally I know where some of them went. 10 September: Cable Skiing with the Sotongs! =D Obviously I was lousy at it but well... it was fun falling into the water and getting wet although that meant shivering because it was so cold.
11 September: I took out my braces! Now it's even more obvious how yellow my teeth are. =( But they're straight!! (Although, it took me a while to tell the diffence) My dentist gave me a mould of how my teeth used to be... and it really looked very crooked and it wasn't very symmetrical!! But the mould is so cool! 
12-14 Sept: *blank* Money keeps disappearing from my wallet. =( And I got my retainers on the 14th!!
15 September: I think this is the 1st time I watch people play lan... it's really entertaining watching them all curse and say other funny stuff. Anyway, there was a bbq at Feng Yi's place but I couldn't stay till that late so I though I just come and watch people play lan before leaving for Minds @ Princep to celebrate Constance's birthday (again? haha, with a different group of girlfriends of course. We have many girlfriends =D). It was quite cool that I managed to choose a date in which so many of the 2/3 girls gang can come. Anyway, we spent nearly 2 hours playing some game that's about giving presents and I realised I sucked at the game. It's not fair. Usually I can read people's minds!! I guess I need to practise my Legilimency.
16 September: Met my sister's in-laws... well... I guess the whole thing's a bit strange because it's kinda like losing a family member and gaining more family members at the same time. And it makes you feel so old somehow. I really don't know how to explain it but and at the same time it's quite cool because marriage is a normal happy thing and all along I've only seen it happen to someone else and now it's in my immediate family... I'll leave this at that. Oh and I exchanged my Singapore dollars for pounds. 1 GBP to 3.07SGD. Sadness.
17-19 Sept: A lot of packing and squeezing stuff into my luggage.
Only 6 more days left... it's fast isn't it? Yet I still don't really feel it coming. Oh dear. It's always like that for me, not feeling anything at all... I guess I cannot think that far ahead.
Anyway, I remembered 2 of those adventure-like dreams I had. Better put it down here before I forget.
1: They (I have no idea who. Some kind of evil syndicate that wants to take over the world I guess) were kidnapping lots of people for experiments in their lab and for torture (because they are evil!) I remember being captured but I managed to run away and I was running from them on this patch of grassfields and then there was this gas station and hawker station in which there were still the normal people because the place was somehow protected...
2: I was a guy in this dream... one of those heroes in those RPG who are moderately skilled but with little experience and I was trying to save some princess from marriage to some evil villain, but the princess was across some river and desert thing.
