back in London
Being a 2nd year is a far cry from being a fresher. As a fresher, you feel like this is a new beginning, that there are brand new worlds to explore and opportunities to come. As a seasoned 2nd year, you can't help but feel tired and stare wistfully at the freshers.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to be back in London (but sad to leave my family behind) and it's rather exciting sharing an apartment with friends but somehow, there's this feeling that something is missing. And I'm quite sure it has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT I HAVEN'T BEEN IN THE GYM SINCE I CAME BACK.

I guess it's because the novelty of the life in London is gone and I haven't found a hobby that I'm extremely passionate about. Even daydreaming is starting to lose its appeal (unless I'm jogging. then it's really fun to fantasize about tall handsome men).

Oh well. Hopefully I'll find something that I really like. I'm determined to learn kendo now because it sounds like lots of fun and also because the club is extremely disciplined and expects the same from each and every one of its member. I need the discipline because I've stopped performing my best since JC. Maybe with a little discipline, I'll start pushing myself a little harder and start putting my all in everything I do.

I'm growing old. =(

Anyway, I'm just going to copy and paste the long story about my apartment because I'm lazy and I keep telling people the same thing:

-----
My flight was 13.5 hours long =/ but well, I survived. I hate flying lol. The only good thing about flying is the entertainment and free snacks/drinks/cards. I'm a bit annoyed though cos it was stated on the supper menu that there will be 'chocolate delight' for dessert but it turned out to be a Mars bar. =( But I ate the Mars bar, 260 empty calories... I need to take a half an hour jog to burn the Mars bar. =/ At least they made it up for breakfast by providing decent fried carrot cake. =D

Anyway, I'm now using the free (unstable) wireless in my new apartment. 3 months ago, we signed an agreement with the landlord stating that we get our basement flat on October the 1st. However, 3 months later, we're not able to get it because the current tenants are hogging the flat. So the agent has arranged for us to stay in a 1-bedroom flat and a 2-bedroom flat for the same price (650 pounds a week) as the basement flat, until the tenants move out.

I should go to the gym now. But my excuse is that there'll be too many people there at this time and there's too little time to do anything productive.

but somehow at the back of my head, I think the reason why I'm not going to the gym is because there's no one to call me spartan woman. =/

Featuring an old drawing of mine becauase I'm too lazy to draw. What else is new? At least I coloured it (nevermind how ugly and messy it is). If the words sound very familiar, think Heroes... and copy&paste.
